Hi, I'm Carissa the photographer (and all things else) for This Little Day.  

 

Whilst my own four young boys are busy at their schools, I  provide a photography service for years zero and one in Auckland schools. Working to keep life in balance, I also practice and teach a few yoga classes (it helps me with all the crouching I do hovering about classrooms looking for THOSE moments). You won't find any cheesy forced smiles here, as my mission is to catch the innocence and freshness of sweet little faces engrossed in, and captivated by, their new class environment.

That exciting first year of school will go by in a FLASH! I want to preserve a memory for you in a beautiful way that you and your child can hold onto and treasure.

HOW IT WORKS:

1 - You will receive a Permission Slip/Info Form from your child's teacher about this service. 

2 - This form will need to be SIGNED and RETURNED back to the teacher or

emailed directly to This Little Day by the cut-off date. 

3 - A shoot day will be scheduled and on that day I will be unobtrusively in the background of the classroom

taking candid photos as the children go about their day. Only the children who have returned SIGNED permission slips and are at the school on that day will be photographed. 

4 - Once photos have been edited, you will receive a small hardcopy sample photo with a unique code attached to a  Purchasing Form with information on how to purchase full-sized prints or framed photos of your child.  (Which is through this website only as schools are not involved in taking any money for photos). 

5 - Your final prints/framed photos will be delivered to the school on a set date ready for you to pick up from your child's classroom.
